Slow down.

(btw. My friend wrote this.)

What is up with all the speeding today?

Speed to get to where we need to be.
Speed to get to where we don't need to be.
Speed to find a best friend.
Speed to find our place in life.

Why...
Why don't we EVER take our time?

We wonder why there are so many marriages ended in romantic tragedies and separation.
When we do not take the TIME...((
TIME)) to get to know the person fully.
Where did we begin speeding through life?

Conversations allllllways spark up my mind into thought.
Talking to a good friend last night I started pondering these thoughts.

We live so fast that we barely take the time to breathe.
Let alone
live.
Let alone
LOVE!

We expect love at first sight and other things at second sight.
When it takes time.
All the time and effort we can possibly put into it.

Not everyone falls at first sight.
Sometimes it is the person you have known years you all the sudden realize you love.
Or the person you least expect just finds their way into the depths of your being.
Rushing into love just will not cut it with me.
Rushing into things isn't true romance in the first place.
Yet we wonder why love fails we really, we are failing love daily.

To love someone else you have to love yourself first.
To have passion for life, you have to be passionate about you are alive.
To love forever you have to slow down take your time and just settle in for the forever of things.

So instead of saying go fall as fast as you can for someone.
I will challenge you to take your time.
When you want to say I love you, wait.
Wait. And keep waiting until finally you cannot hold it in and it's the only words which will describe your true heart to the person your heart loves.
Take your time.
Just wait it out.

God made us to live.
To take our time and notice this beautiful creation all around us.
He made us to love and live freely.
Too often we bind our freedom with the hands of business and time.
Go freely love.
But take your time.
Slow it down and
breathe.
Think it out and protect your precious heart.
Know you are fragile and meant to love. But you cannot love if you just throw it around breaking yourself to your very depths.

Love slowly.
To love fully!"
