Because.

Most of the time by the end of it the year has been amazing.

All the lessons I learned this year I wouldn't trade for anything. 

Its the hard times and the lessons shaping me into who I am.  Slowly, but surely I'm seeing that. I mean, I know it. But to see it is totally different. Exciting even.
